Nissan - Konetik Cooperation to Boost Nordic Corporate Fleet Electrification
This past week we had the opportunity and privilege to participate in Nissan's Electrify the World global startup innovation challenge in Oslo. After a tough competition our team won the challenge.
The competition was organized by Nissan Innovation Labs in coordination with Nissan Nordics to find the most promising companies operating in the e-mobility domain. In the 2 days workshop, we had the opportunity to understand better the e-mobility growth strategies, challenges of the Nordic area and learn more about Nissan's approach.
The finale of the Nissan Electrify the World Startup Challenge took place on the 11th December, 2018 in Oslo. The 10 finalists came from 6 countries: France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Singapore and UK. The jury was made up of Nissan executives, EV Association Norway representative and sustainable mobility experts. After a close competition, the jury ultimately selected our team as the winner.
In the future, Nissan and Konetik will cooperate to further spread the e-mobility revolution in the Nordic region. The goal of the joint project is to support companies fleet electrification decision process in the world’s most advanced e-mobility ecosystem in Norway. The project aims to provide an automated software solution that gives recommendations for companies regarding the suitable vehicle models and charging infrastructure.
Nissan and Konetik are both committed to zero-emission transportation solutions and sustainable mobility services. With this partnership we will be dedicated to amplify our work by reaching out to Nissan's stakeholders, offering support with their fleet electrification challenges.
We are looking forward to the kick-off of the project. Built on the strong shared value our team is confident that joining our efforts with Nissan will help facilitate the uptake of electric vehicles for companies.
